Can we leave our luggage at the Hotel after we check out?

Please note that Check-out is possible until 11 am. We will be happy to store your luggage in the hotel up to your final departure. If you would like to check-out later than 11 am, we kindly ask you to request this from reception as soon as possible. This is subject to availability and possible extra charge.


Does the Hotel offer Internet Service in the Rooms and Public Spaces?

In all public areas of the Hotel and inside all room types, we offer Free Wi-Fi Internet Connection.


How long will it take us to reach the Hotel from Athens International Airport?

By taxi it will take you approximately 35 minutes, depending on the traffic. Vey  easy to access, the hotel is located 500 meters from the Acropolis and 100 meters from the New Acropolis Museum. Constitution (Syntagma) Square and the commercial center of Athens are, also, only 500 meters away.

By using the Metro from the Airport, it will take you around 40-45 minutes. Please alight at the Metro Station “Acropoli”, which is only 5 minutes away from the Hotel and just opposite the New Acropolis Museum. Visit also the page “Map & Access” for more information.

Does every room have its own cooling or heating system?

Every room in the hotel has an individually controlled thermostat for your own comfort. In order to power up the A/C, place your room card inside the slot at the entrance of the room. Please ensure that the balcony door is closed when you switch on the air conditioning/heating.


Can we use Dry Cleaning, Laundry, and Ironing Services in your Hotel?

We can provide you with a Monday to Friday same-day service if you contact the reception on 0, no later than 9.00 a.m. You will find a laundry list & bag in your cupboard. For Normal Service, all items received by 9.00 a.m. will be returned the same day, and all items received after 9.00 a.m. will be returned the next day, except weekends and holidays. If you require Express Service, all items received after 9.00 a.m. and returned the same day are subject to a 50% surcharge.


When Laundry Services are unavailable for ironing, we provide Same Day Ironing service for small items, from 08.00. to 19.30. (surcharge 50%). Please contact the Reception desk so they can arrange it for you. You can ask from our Reception for an iron to be provided inside the room.


Does the Hotel provide Room Service?

If you would like to enjoy Breakfast in your room, please complete the breakfast menu order form in your information folder (complete & hang it outside your door, no later than 04.00). Room Service supplement is 3€. Light snacks & Salads are available from 12.00 noon until 19.00. Dinner is served from 19.00 until 23.00 (last orders). Drinks & Hot Beverages are served until 00.00.


Does the Hotel offer facilities and rooms for disabled people?

The Athens Gate Hotel does not offer rooms suitable for guests with disabilities. On the mezzanine floor, you can find restroom facilities suitable for people with disabilities.


Is breakfast included in the Room Price? Where can I take my breakfast?

Breakfast is included in the room price and is served daily from 06.45 to 10.30, either on our Roof Top Restaurant on the 8th Floor or in your room (3€ Room Service Charge). You can find a Breakfast Menu order form in the information folder. Please complete & hang it outside your door, no later than 04.00. For early departures, we provide Early Breakfast with Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice, Cake & Croissants in the Lobby area (no plastic cups to take away). Breakfast boxes can also be arranged. Please inform the Front Desk the night before.

How many Restaurants and Bars can we find in the Hotel?

The Hotel has one Restaurant which operates every day and is located on the 8th floor.


In our Roof-Top Restaurant, Dinner is served from 19.00 until 23.00. (last order). If you require a dinner reservation, please dial 20 from your room, or inform the Reception.


On the 8th floor, you will also find the Snack Bar, which offers light snacks, salads, drinks & hot beverages from 12.00 noon until 01.00. The city’s view from the hotel’s Roof Top is possibly the best in the whole of Athens.


The hotel’s Lobby bar on the ground floor also serves drinks along with hot & cold beverages, until 23.00.


We would like to organize a small conference for our Company. Do you provide Meeting Facilities or a Cocktail Reception area?
